Clients experience a very relaxing feeling, increased sense of wellbeing, and the behavioral changes they desire. Pregnant women whose labor is overdue usually begin their labor within 24 hours of their hypnotherapy session; smokers quit smoking; anxieties are reduced; performance is enhanced in sports and other endeavors; and ability to learn and retain new information is enhanced.
I start each session by asking my client what behavioral change they hope to achieve. Then I talk to them about hypnosis in general and about any previous experiences they may have had with hypnosis. I explain the theory behind hypnosis and why it works. I do a short exercise with them that demonstrates the effectiveness of hypnotherapy. Then we proceed to the actual session work itself.
I record each session on the client's cell phone, so that they can listen to the audio recording at home to reinforce their desired behavioral changes.

Anxieties that interfere with normal functioning; insomnia; smoking; pregnancy that is past its due date; poor eating habits; sports performance problems; learning difficulties; and memory limitations.
I graduated from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy (AIH) as a Certified Hypnotherapist and have taken advanced training from the AIH. I have practiced in California for 20 years and have also been a member of the American Institute during that time.
