I start each session by asking my client to describe the symptoms they are currently experiencing, tell me what they want from the massage, and how they want to feel when they leave. I craft the perfect massage for their needs from the many techniques and modalities I know. During the massage, they can tell me at any time to adjust the room and hot pad temperature, blankets, music, and the massage techniques and pressure. When the massage is complete, I ask my clients how they feel and whether they received what they wanted.
My work has helped people of all ages, from babies to seniors. I work with people in all professions, and all levels of activity including: retired people, business people, physicians, nurses, attorneys, athletes, pregnant women, new mothers, students, able and disabled.
My work has helped clients recovering from joint replacement or other surgeries; suffering from auto accident or other injuries; living with chronic headaches, fibromyalgia or other chronic conditions; experiencing soreness from intensive exercise; and those who want to treat themselves to a wonderful massage.
Clients experiencing pain find that their pain and discomfort are reduced. Those with limited mobility find that their mobility and flexibility increase. All experience an increase in comfort and emotional/physical wellbeing.
